High Ranks are characters with special roles in the clan or site-wide plot such as leaders, deputies, medicine cats, and their apprentices.
They are considered vital to moving major plots or events for their clan.

Members who choose to take on a High Rank character will have monthly posting requirements and should be prepared to complete those when they are announced in the future. [break]

If a member consistently demonstrates a pattern of inactivity with their High Rank character in months that are consecutive, staff will issue a nudge regarding activity.
If activity requirements are still continued to be missed the position will be lost and it will be put up for audition again.

Periods of inactivity or conflicts that arise due to real-life circumstances can be accommodated for easily by the #abscenes channel on discord or DMing staff on discord.[break]

All auditions must be under 1,500 words total.[break]

Characters will be selected by staff based on the member’s writing ability and what the character can bring to the table as a part of plots.
Other High Rank characters within the same clan may also have an influence on the selection.

Members should make sure to read our Clan Information to familiarize themselves with the clan they wish to take a major role in. They should also read any other current High Rank character bios before applying.[break]

We're looking primarily at this time to have MarshClan be the main catalyst or aggressors for the site plot, but very open to members taking High Ranks in other clans with ideas or a plot they want to bring.
