Ceremony Rules

Members are responsible for ensuring their characters meet necessary thread requirements gradually as a character ages in order to move up in rank. [break]
▶
Mentors are required to actively work towards completing threads and prioritize threads with their apprentices. If your apprentice’s mentor is not actively working with you to meet thread requirements or has gone inactive, feel free to reach out to staff to work out a solution.[break]

Any threads being used for ceremony requirements must be finished threads that are at least 6 posts in length and have been wrapped up narratively.[break]
▶
Members can choose whether or not they would like their ceremony to be an in-character thread within the ceremony request form.[break]
▶
Once your character has completed their thread requirements to move up in rank, you must post a reply to this thread with the proper form filled out. Forms for apprentice and warrior ceremonies are found in the other tabs to this thread.[break]

Members are not allowed to roleplay their characters as the next rank until their ceremony request has been formally approved. [break]

Kit to apprentice ceremony

Kits qualify to become apprentices once they meet the following requirements:[break]
- Reach 6 moons old.
- Have at least 1 completed post in a thread they’re participating in.

Early or delayed apprentice ceremonies can occur if the following requirements are met:[break]
- DM staff or the corresponding clan’s leader in advance for plot approval.
- Receive plot approval from the parents of the kit.
- A completed thread must be submitted within the ceremony form that represents the plot or character development that is being undergone.

apprentice to warrior ceremony

Apprentices qualify to become warriors once they meet the following requirements:[break]
- Reach at least 12 moons old.
- 1 finished thread with their assigned mentor.
- 2 additional finished threads with their assigned mentor or others characters.

If a warrior ceremony is not requested by the time an apprentice is 15 moons, staff will reach out to the member to remind them to complete their thread requirements. [break]

The character will be automatically considered a warrior with it’s ceremony pending. However, they cannot become a mentor or redeem extra stats until ceremony requirements are completed and submitted.[break]

Early or delayed warrior ceremonies can occur if the following requirements are met:[break]
- DM staff or the corresponding clan’s leader in advance for plot approval.
- Plot with their mentor.
- Complete their 3 required threads for the ceremony.
- An additional 4th completed thread must be submitted within the ceremony form that represents the plot or character development that is being undergone.
