Out-of-Character Rules

Treat all members with respect. Harassment, plagiarism, insulting, discrimination, or initiating unwanted interactions is not allowed.

Do not make unwanted critiques or criticize another member’s writing unless they specifically ask for such.

The site is rated PG-13 in terms of content allowing the following:[break]

Swearing is permitted, with some limitations. Swears used in the books such as mouse-brained or fox-dung are welcome. Human swears should be kept to a stricter limit and are more discouraged in-character.
Sexual content is not permitted. Minor sexual innuendos and references are permitted but this must be kept very limited and graphic descriptions are not allowed.
Violence is permitted barring graphic depictions and excessive gore being not allowed.

For activity, we do require members to make a minimum of 1 post per month in-character.

Members with a high rank character must post at least 8 times a month with 4 of the posts required to be with the high rank character.

Our site is inclusive and welcoming to characters of all genders and sexual orientations. [break]

Advertisement outside of the advertisement board is prohibited.[break]

▶

Members who break rules out-of-character or in-character are subject to disciplinary action in the form of either a slight nudge or an official warning.

Members must be 18+ to join the site and remain a member of our server. [break]

OW1 → OW2 → OW3 → Ban
If a member remains on good behavior, official warnings will usually decay monthly.
Nudges are given on the note of minor infractions that don’t merit an official warning.

In-Character Rules

One account per roleplayer. All of your characters should be played and managed on the same account.[break]

All characters must have a character biography created, finished, and approved by staff in order to begin roleplaying.

All IC posts must obey a 200 word count requirement.[break]

▶

All accepted characters will age 1 moon per 1 month that rolls over in real time. This means that on the 1st of every month all accepted characters age 1 moon on site.[break]

Members start off with 10 character slots. Additional character slots can be earned through events.[break]

▶

Characters are not allowed to possess special powers of any sort.[break]

▶

New clans cannot be created by members. Official rouge organizations can be plotted, but their plot, premise, and motives must be formally approved by staff.[break]

▶

Kits cannot be created as characters out of thin air and must be produced by two already existing characters through completing requirements for a litter.

Pregnant or nursing queens characters cannot be created. Queens must be pregnant one month in-character before giving birth.[break]

Prefixes and suffixes must follow semi-traditional guidelines as displayed in books with the added on knowledge of the wildlife and flora native to Fiji.

In order to rank up, characters must complete certain ceremony requirements.

Appearances must be genetically plausible and realistic. All characters must have a referencing face claim of an actual cat. Drawings may not be used as a face claim for a character.[break]

Threads are based on liquid time and characters can have multiple threads. The day in which the thread is first created is used as to when it occurred in time.

Allowing roleplayers to have proper amounts of time to complete plots or threads. In other words, if a thread is created in the middle of leaf-bare but is finished six months later, the thread still occurred in the middle of leaf-bare.

Powerplaying is prohibited. Any sort of harming, killing, or maiming other characters without OOC consent of the character's roleplayer first is not allowed.[break]

Each roleplayer is allowed one high ranking position character which must be auditioned for when there is an open position and there are certain requirements.

Forbidden relationships between clan cats from different clans or with a cat outside of the clans is allowed, but only if certain requirements are met.

Once a character becomes deceased, they cannot visit the living with the exception of medicine cat dreams and a leader receiving their nine lives. They may not be brought back to life by any means.

Additionally, only medicine cat characters can receive official dreams, visions, or signs from StarClan.
